This model focuses on teaching parents how to manage behaviors at home. We meet with parents in person and via secure Zoom video calls on a regular basis multiple times a week and discuss current issues and assess current home setups for the child. Establishing things visual schedules, token economies, and sensory spaces in the child's home.
We take the coaching directly to the child's natural environment, a local park, the grocery store, or a library. Working 1-on-1 with the child on functional life skills like navigating a grocery store, ordering food at a restaurant, or practicing playground socialization
We know families often sit on diagnostic or specialized services waitlists for long periods of time with little to no help. We act as your lifeline in the period between diagnoses and receiving services. We host weekly virtual group cohorts with 4 or 5 families teaching basic behavioral principles: tracking behavior functions, using timers for transitions, and building functional communication systems. This option promotes connection with the local community to other families in similar situations and provides a more cost effective option to still receive helpful gudiance.
